I got an issue with playing mkv/avi files from an external platium hard drive which is ntfs formatted. When im trying to start/load a file and it begins to freeze. My box doenst react to anything besides a reboot.I just uploaded a video for better understanding.I hope you can reply to my problem.edit:btwi tried both options 'start from beginning' and 'resume from 00:00'.i put xmplayer v.0.0.4 and dashlaunch 3.09 in separated folders on the root of my usb pen.Could you supply some more details about the files you try to play? If you could it'd be great to also have a UART log. First Post!Anyhow. DL'd and ran xmplayer from dashlaunch (newest). Starts up fine and I can navigate the UI perfectly.
No freezing issues.untilI try to play a movie.Tried avi and mp4, from a usb and HDD. Tried running xenon.elf from usb and HDD. Same result in all situations. As soon as I select a file it comes up 'start from 00:00' or 'play from beginning'. Select either option and the video freezes on the xbox (rgh btw), fans still going but no response and I have to turn off the system to reboot.Any help would be appreciated.
XMPlayer is a port of the open source media player MPlayer. The source code of MPlayer has been changed to make XMPlayer, enabling it to deal with an Xbox 360 reassure that has been Jtag or RGH-hacked; before this player client expected to transcode recordings or sound that they wished to play over their system. XMPlayer is a media player for XBOX 360 based from Mplayer an open source media player.
.XMPlayer is a port of the popular open source media player. It is capable of playing HD MKV content and other video files nativity on a Jtag / RGH hacked Xbox 360. Has anyone been able to put this working?I'm trying to boot this, using XellLaunch from FSD, Xell.bin is v0.991.It startes the XMPlayer OK, but then it stops at the loading screen. That screen with the disc animation. It just keeps there, won't pass from there. Don't know why.The Xbox doesn't really FREEZE, has the animation keeps going, but doesn't do anything.Maybe its because im running the ELF from a external HDD USB?(thumbs up)UPDATE: For those having problems with the Disc animation logo freeze, format the device in use with FAT32Format tool. It seems that the way windows formats in FAT32 causes incompatibilities with the player. If the USB is formated in Linux or with FAT32Format, it should work.
